Install Fireball Sidecar on iPhone or iPad

The Fireball Sidecar Pre-Release comes through Apple's TestFlight. Release will be in the App Store.

Get TestFlight

You need

  • An iPhone with iOS 17 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 17 or later.
  • An Apple Account.

Install with TestFlight

Free from Apple. Install it once, then every Pre-Release arrives as an update.

  1. Get TestFlight

    Open the Get TestFlight button above on your iPhone or iPad, or search the App Store for TestFlight. Tap Get.

  2. Get your invitation

    Ask Fireball Enterprise for a TestFlight invitation if you don't have one yet. Open the invitation email or link on this device.

  3. Accept and install

    In TestFlight, tap Accept, then Install next to Fireball Sidecar.

  4. Open it

    Tap Open in TestFlight, or find Fireball Sidecar on your Home Screen.

The first time it opens

Open Fireball Sidecar and sign in with your Fireball account.

If something's off

How do I update?
TestFlight updates the app on its own. Open TestFlight and tap Update to get a new build right away.
The invitation says it has expired.
TestFlight builds expire after 90 days. Install the newest build from TestFlight, or ask for a new invitation.
